A Fresh water pearl is formed by a mollusk over similar periods of time after ingesting irritants and sand. The pearl symbolizes taking what the world gives you and making something precious and beautiful. The sea’s version of taking lemons and making lemonade.

This piece is handwoven in clear coat enameled genuine copper. The clear coat of enamel protects the copper from patina and damage. Natural patina over time may occur, any copper safe polish will restore its beautiful shine. Do not expose to water over long periods of time; this will speed up the patina process.
