Petrified wood forms after a forest has been lost to time; often a result of wildfire, earthquakes or floods. Once the forest is buried for long enough, crystals begin to form inside of the wood, taking the shape, color and patterns of the trees.

Petrified Wood represents a long and slow personal transformation, things may get dark and feel like the end is impossibly far away, however when you come out the other side, you will be strong as stone. Promotes stability, longevity, strength, wisdom, determination and good fortune.

This piece is handwoven in clear coat enameled genuine copper. The clear coat of enamel protects the copper from patina and damage. Natural patina over time may occur, any copper safe polish will restore its beautiful shine. Do not expose to water over long periods of time; this will speed up the patina process.
